Patient News Publishing is proud to have successfully completed the rigorous and voluntary accreditation process by the Forest Stewardship Council. This means that we share the ability with other leaders in sustainable environmental practices to trace the chain of custody of its paper and wood purchases from the original forest site through every single step to consumer point-of-purchase. This is possible because every participant in the chain also carries the FSC logo and has met the FSC’s scrupulous international standards.

All of the paper we use for our newsletters, postcards, and other marketing materials is certified to ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable way. We also recycle our printing plates, buy in bulk to reduce packaging waste, clean with environmentally friendly products, use vegetable-based inks, and our entire staff takes part in recycling all of their supplies and foodstuffs.

By agreeing to purchase only FSC-certified paper and other products, Patient News Publishing has guaranteed its own employees and community, as well as clients, that they are using paper products purchased only from organizations that are equally committed to responsible forest management.
